ties

The ties have FINALLY come in. Global School Wear has increased their price, new price is $20. Please either come by the office to purchase or send money with your child for purchase. Effective October 5th, if your child comes to Mass without a tie, they will be given one and your FACTS account will be charged $20.

Technology Protection

broken screen

We have had a few of our one-to-one device screens shatter due to students not being careful with them. Unfortunately this means an out of pocket expense for the parents. In order to avoid having to pay for a broken computer, an option would be to purchase a protective cover. These devices will follow students from grade 3 through 5 and grades 6 through 8. The cost is nominal for the cover as opposed to the cost of a new computer.

Here is an Amazon link to a cover that would work for grades 3 - 5.

Here is an Amazon link to a cover that would work for grades 6 - 8.

Monday after Harvest Festival

Attention all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students (and parents)

If you are in need of Christian Service Hours please sign up with Mrs. Holdren to work on Monday, September 18th from 9am - Noon.

You will be helping with Harvest Festival clean up including putting tables and chairs away. If you are unsure if you need hours please check with Mrs. Holdren as soon as possible.

We will also need adult volunteers to help direct students and to help with the larger items. If you would like additional volunteer hours, please contact Kelly Holdren in the school office.

Gardening Angels!

We had an eventful meeting on Sept.6th. Our cantaloupe vines are finished producing for this season so we cleared away the cantaloupe vines and will prepare the soil for our next crop. We harvested our watermelons, 3 sugar babies and our very large icebox watermelon. All gardening angels should know how to tell if a watermelon is ready to pick!  We checked on our many pumpkins and we discovered that we had one hidden in the center of our tomato vines! We are hoping to harvest these pumpkins at our next meeting. We found 4 loofah sponge gourds, and will be looking to do a bit of research on how to dry these.

We finished our meeting by eating 2 of our watermelons, and they were delicious!  We gave one to Mrs. Dickert as a thankyou for letting us grow so many good things this summer.

We will meet again on September 20th and hopefully by then the pumpkins will be ready to harvest!

Thank you Gardening Angels!

Looking forward to God's harvest!

Mrs. Parnham

Attention all Gardening Angel's!

Most of our pumpkins were harvested and will be given away to members at the next meeting on September 20th. There are still a few that are green and will be ready later on.

See you soon!

PTG MTG 9/20

CANCELED

Dear St. Anthony's families,

This year has been off with a whirlwind. We want to say thank you to all of you for your continued support and involvement. We love the sense of community we are feeling on campus, within the church as well as with our CYO families! Due to a scheduling conflict, we've cancelled our monthly PTG meeting for September 20th. We are blessed to share many ministries on campus, however, there are times when we need to pivot due to unforeseen circumstances. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at our October PTG meeting on October 18 at 6 PM in the library.

We are seeing involvement within our community such as Alter servers, Choir service, Garden club and CYO that are record breaking... so wonderful to see so many of our children and families involved.

Attached are the minutes from our August meeting in case you may have missed them. We will vote on them at the beginning of the October meeting. Also attached are the PTG financials through August 31.

If you have photos from everyday campus life, CYO, church or school events, please tag us on social media so we can share them. Additionally, you can send your photos to yearbook@sasmanteca.org for the yearbook. If you are interested in serving to work with yearbook, please send your interest to the email as well.

We have some very exciting fundraisers coming up this year, the 1st being our annual Tacos and Tequila event on Friday October 20th, tickets are on sale now, please see either our website or the flyer posted below for the direct link to purchase tickets. We hope to see everyone there!

Our Room parents for the 2023/2024 school year have been secured and are working together to create fun memories with each of our classes.

We are still working on some exciting updates for our new playground and are still on target to start breaking ground this Winter, we could not have made this happen without your efforts last year and are so thankful for your support.

We hope to see you all at the Parish Harvest Festival this weekend, and for our October meeting.

August Financials are available here.
