The final bid for phase one of the Playground Project has come in at $126,500. At our meeting last school year our PTG members approved 75% of the funds on hand, which was $111,000.00 to be used for this project. On Wednesday, November 29, we met with the Education Foundation and they have approved $50,000 towards our Playground Project. As a matter of order, due to the amount of the purchase, our expense also needs to go through the Finance Council (which approved the purchase on the 30th) and the Diocesan Building Committee. Fr. Banka and Mrs. Dickert have sent the bid to the diocese for approval. Once we hear back, we can sign the contract and set a date to get started. We are so excited that this is finally happening!!
Phase one of the Playground Project includes all playground equipment in the front area of the school where the current playground is located. Phase two will include a poured rubberized surface to replace the tanbark. Total cost for phase 1 and 2 is $261,000.
There is no PTG meeting scheduled for the month of December. The board members wish each of you a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year.
2024 marks the 20th Anniversary of the Walk for Life West Coast, 20 years of standing for the littlest and most vulnerable among us, and 20 years of fearlessly asserting that Abortion Hurts Women.
St. Anthony's Knights of Columbus have rented busses for this event. You can sign up in the parish office to attend for a nominal registration fee. Due to the volume of participants, registrations are non-refundable after January 7th. All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The bus will leave St. Anthony’s Parish at 9:00am sharp. Expected return will be at 5:30pm
If you are planning to volunteer this year (and we hope you do), you must have completed your fingerprints, Virtus training and signed off on the Volunteer Agreement before you can be in the classroom or events where students are in attendance. This would include any upcoming Christmas parties.
**Fingerprinting is only done once. Virtus and Volunteer Agreements have expiration dates and need to be updated. If you are not sure if you need to update, please contact Kelly Holdren in the front office.
Please email scrip at scrip@sasmanteca.org to place your scrip order or call the school office. Remember to include a contact number. Any items we do not have in stock will automatically be put on backorder unless otherwise stated by you.
Please do not order physical cards through RaiseRight. If you would like physical cards please obtain them from our scrip office.
The online RaiseRight program is an excellent way to earn your Scrip profit on the go! ALL physical cards must be ordered through our Scrip office.
